Charlotte remains one of the fastest growing cities in the country. The city’s housing market is booming thanks in large part to the economic growth experienced in the past ten years. The housing market continues to be seller driven. However, a steady supply of homes provides buyers with plenty of options.
In July 2005, the Carolina Multiple Services Statistics reported single family homes sales of approximately 1,610 in the Charlotte area. The average sales price was $238,958. The average home sold within three to four months of being listed.
